It can be overwhelming to parent a child, particularly when you are concerned that your child is struggling in school.
Connect the Dots will help you find the right resources and empower you to advocate for your child’s success in school.
Advocacy and Consultation
Concern for your child’s educational success can feel overwhelming—even for experienced parents. Understanding your child’s needs, navigating the IEP process, and advocating effectively within the school system can be complex and emotional.
Through Connect the Dots, you will work with an experienced special education advocate and consultant serving Massachusetts families who understands your child’s learning profile, how school systems operate, and what it feels like to be a parent in this process.
We provide advocacy and consultation services at every stage, offering clear guidance and information so you can feel informed and confident. Whether you are just beginning or navigating more complex concerns, we help you understand your options and determine next steps.
Our goal is to support you in building a collaborative, productive partnership with your child’s school while ensuring your child’s needs are clearly understood and appropriately supported.
Serving families across Massachusetts, including the North Shore.
Educational Evaluations and Classroom Observations
A child’s needs are rarely easy to identify and address. Educational evaluations and classroom observations can uncover critical information to help you and the school understand your chid’s needs and how best to ensure they make effective academic progress and address any social/emotional and behavioral needs.
Tutoring
Sometimes children need a little extra help, whether it's due to a learning difference, an extended absence, or an especially challenging academic subject. We provide students with individualized, multi-sensory instruction to support their unique learning needs. Instruction is provided by an experienced and licensed teacher, certified in teaching general education grades 1 to 6, and special education grades pre-K to 8.
"Creating relationships with parents to assist them in understanding the unique needs of their children is central to Pam's philosophy."
